Book TitleGut and Psychology Syndrome : Natural Treatment for Autism, Dyspraxia, A. D. D. , Dyslexia, A. D. H. D. , Depression, Schizophrenia, 2nd Edition
I’ve been having gut issues for decades now, with resulting chronic insomnia and have tried so many diets, but this book explains SO WELL the connection between what we eat and the affect it has on our minds. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve written ‘wow’ in my book! I can tell the author has tons of experience in this field. We really are complex creatures. This book does require major dietary (and lifestyle) changes, so as I can’t afford it all at once I’m doing it gradually, but have already most definitely cut out all the foods she says to avoid and have noticed a HUGE difference. Thus I am already convinced that sticking to eating and drinking what Dr. McBride suggests is going to work. Plus I’ve already made two of her simple recipes and I LOVE 😍 them! It really is an excellent book, and has left me wondering multiple times, how come this information is not more widely publicised? I would definitely recommend it especially if one has an autistic child or any of the other gut related disorders that she mentions.
Love the knowledge in this book but it is more suited to someone with prior knowledge in this field. I’m dyslexic so it was relevant to me but it isn’t set out in an easy to digest way so perhaps not quite the right book for me. It’s packed with compelling knowledge it just took me a long time to work out what it is exactly I need to do to help myself, to be honest I’m still a little confused by it.
Don’t be fooled, this book isn’t just for those with autistic children, depression or ADHD. This can help anyone improve their health, no matter how far up the gut damage scale you are. Or even if you think it doesn’t affect you, this can help improve the health of all! Or at least help you understand your own body better. Love it!
Is a 5-star product because theres are no more stars. The truth is that it is an 1001-star product. It's a life-saving book. It is the best gift anyone can give / receive. It should be a must-read. I feel privileged to have it and to read it. Since I follow the teachings of Dr. Natasha, many things have improved in my health. I'm only sorry that this book has not arrived at my hands earlier. I strongly recommend it.
Big help to those with psychological problems and those without
Amazing eating program - definitely not a diet in any traditional meaning of the word.
We are using it to help those with psychological problems. Helped me no end. I found I was able to approach my things to do list and get on with it, rather than get depressed by what I could not do. Everyone could be helped by this in some way or another.
I stopped reading after just a few pages, I flicked through the rest but didn't appeal to me. It felt judgmental to me, maybe only the bits I read but didn't do it for me. I'm vegetarian and it felt as though the book promoted eating meat.
