The show features warriors from many diverse culture and studies their history, psychology and weapons in great detail. Much attention is given to the weapons use and their testing in realistic environments as well as effectiveness of each weapon and combat strategy. Very disciplined fighters.
The ways the experts investigate with historians that know about certain people or race in the competition or of their descendents. The computer simulation is very close to the real thing.
