In this instance, the courier made three attempts to deliver the item and failed on each occasion. On the 4th attempt, they lied and said it had been delivered - when it had not. At that point, I ordered a 2nd copy of the book from Amazon. The next day they actually managed to find our house and finally delivered the item.

Having purchased from this seller previously a feature of both purchases was the slow dispatch for which the seller is not responsible.

Should have contacted seller before ordering, as I did with previous Paul Gallico book I'd ordered from same seller, who were very helpful. (On that occasion I did get the book/cover I wanted.)
