Must see Kaiju goodness and origin of Gorosaurus!
While not exactly a Toho classic, this fits right in perfectly with Godzilla, Mothra and Rodan. It’s also the first appearance of Gorosaurus! Features the great Akira Takarada and Hideyo Amamoto from several of the Godzilla Showa Series films. Plus there’s a MechaKong! King Kong Escapes
This was a fun movie. Made more for little kids but still enjoyable. Could have been even better if Kong’s costume looked more realistic, but that’s The Japanese Style of movies in the 60’s for you.
