IT FOLLOWS - Follows your thoughts if you have teenagers. Good bare bones creepy thriller!
I had originally heard the recommendations for It Follows from a couple movie critics that I occasionally hear on NPR & local radio to North Carolina 106.5, 92.3 etc. I kind of wish I hadn't & had just stumbled across it since the few small details they gave about it had given me too much knowledge about it. Very smart the way it takes an urban legend type tale and plays it out so simplistically! Love it. Watched it with one of my daughters and explained that it about STD's to make her think about it. It’s worth owning.
To me, the music is everything in this film. The acting is solid and the movie carries on at a good entertaining pace. Scenes can be shocking and bizarre but being paired with a great score will riddle you with anxiety and heavy anticipation that left me practically glued ‘til the end. I originally saw this movie on Netflix but thought sometime later it’d be worth to own it since I like it that much.
