    Great hand book

    I bought this book to learn how to make tinctures from natural herbs growing in my garden. I found this book to be exactly what I was looking for. Nicely illustrated too. The author tells you how to make tinctures with various solvents. Which solvents to use with each herb. Variations and alternatives for those averse to certain solvents like alcohol. The author also provides a list of herbs for the beginner with the health benefits and uses. I feel the author is very learned in the subject. He also showed a respect for endangered and at-risk species of plants. I feel this book was both informative, useful, and good value.

    A worthwhile book chock full of information

    Lots of tips and hints, and history about herbs and growing plants, weeds etc. I find it to be a little bit woo woo, but you can easily skip to the parts more relevant.
