Dated 'Nam' story, steel town, Nowhere USA.
The Deer Hunter(1978/80). My score. 3.5/5.0 Five Oscars. Showing its age. Early Streep. OTT violence and good performances make up for ordinary plot. Rotten tomatos score. 93 (and 92 audience)
