Very impressive audio device for the money. Excellent 'starter' for new Streamer.
Product is a bit lacking in on-box display indications. For example, no detail at all about what PCM or DSD data rates are being streamed. The Wiim App has most of this information and is quite useful and well designed. The streamer works well, the built-in DAC is a bit weak compared to a Blusound Node or iFi Neo Stream. Fantastic alternative to Sonos by using ...
Fantastic alternative to Sonos by using your own speaker equipment. The Pro Plus is a great way to hook up your existing sound system to streaming services. The WiiM Amp which I also have is a great way to connect passive speakers that don't already have an amp supplying them power. Multiple WiiM devices also allow for synchronized playback across multiple rooms like Sonos. Amazing bang for buck. The software is super useful and easy to use too. Didn't like the app, was slow with my iP...
Didn't like the app, was slow with my iPhone, bass is boomy and treble is boosted, mids and vocals sound hollow, can't recommend. Musical Fidelity V Dac II has worse s/n ratio but far more balanced and much greater fidelity.
