a 3ds must have
The gameplay functions like a average hack and slash or beat-em-up,with enclosed areas full of enemies that need to be defeated before progress can be made.Co-op multiplayer through local wireless and over the internet. SENRAN KAGURA 2: Deep Crimson is a reasonably solid fighting game with some decent presentation.winks at players with sexual jokes, hot visuals and hentai tropes, but it's actually a very good beat'em up with tons of content and unlockables.AR experiences,the use of the 3D is spectacular,This one at least I can say is great and totally deserves attention.if the clothing destruction really bothers you (which it shouldn't as it's a silly thing to let ruin an entire game, not to mention one that is actually fun) you can turn those scenes off. This is a stellar action game, filled with lightning-fast combat and an interesting plot and a huge amount of character customization.Look past the hypersexualized characters and you will find one of the best action games on the system.Combat is fairly simplistic, but there are enough mechanics at play to keep you engaged for quite some time.Deep Crimson is divided into five major chapters, each of which is composed of a dozen or so combat missions. Some are single-boss battles, while others have you run across a stage, eliminating any enemies that pop up.As you fight through missions, you unlock new costumes, accessories, and weapons. You get dozens of unique outfits, including maid costumes and skin-tight bodysuits.The campaign offers a fair amount of content to get through, and once you’ve cleared a mission you can play it again as any of the girls, as opposed to the one assigned to that specific mission your first time.Missions are mostly of the beat-everything-until-dead variety, but boss fights mixed in at the end of every chapter and are pretty fun.Combat is an absolute blast. Senran Kagura is still the only series that seems to nail that feeling of being a badass ninja just right.Following directly on the events of Senran Kagura Burst, the two rival academies are back again and this time must find a way to work together to take down a common enemy, while of course having their own issues with one another.If you have not played the first game just watch the 12 episode anime and you will be all caught up.You have the AR feature to pose the girls in your room if you have the AR cards that came with the 3DS.It's definitely one of the darker, if not the darkest entry to the Senran Kagura series so far since the main enemies are the yoma, the main baddies in this universe. I think it’s safe to say that Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson is not only a great sequel, but it blows the original out of the water in almost every respect.This game is addictive and hard to put down.Cons Random difficulty spikes throughout game,no english voice acting.the soundtrack case is a poor design should have made it easier to get the discs out with a push button or something.

This should also be remastered on PS4.
The game arrived on time, with everything included and never opened. Plays great, has the same controls as the Vita and PS4 consoles, though still kinda throws me off being on 3DS lol. Great purchase, recommended 👍😁

Portable Fan Service
If you're into booby ninjas and beat-em-ups, I don't know that there are many options out there for 3DS owners, let alone games that combine both! The game is fully voice acted and there's all kinds of customization for those interested in exploring the combat system, as well as a whole lot of costumes and poses and other things for those interested in the pervy fan-service oriented side of the game as well. One slight complaint I have is that the game seems to have some performance related hiccups that can lead to some frame drops. I run on a fairly new New 3DS that I picked up earlier this year but I know these slow down issues can be fairly common in these kinds of games where characters flood the screen to receive their beat-downs, and normally they aren't also individually losing articles of clothing while receiving said beat-downs. If performance issues would get in your way, I know that there are other games in this franchise available on the stronger more capable home consoles, like the PS4. This would dodge the performance issues and allow your booby ninjas to be larger than life... and it'd also keeping your fan-service indoors so people aren't judging you for the the Japanese girl screams coming from your earbuds or all the panties and bounce physics that may catch their eye as they sit near you on your commute. The game is good time but it definitely has a target audience in mind so do your homework before you find yourself in a position where need to explain to your parents or friends why you have an SD card full of anime school girl ninjas playfully, or nervously... if you're that guy, posing on their hands and knees.

Fun in a box
This a a fun arcade fighting game with anime girls and plenty of content to keep you busy with the game. If you like changing your character look and using the 3D option on your 3DS then this is definitely for you. Anime lovers welcome.

I'm new to the SK series and I'm thrilled to have gotten this. Came wonderfully packaged and at a good price. The gameplay style does get repetitive at times but the story, graphics, characters and, ahem... make up for it. Awesome overall.
