    All the stuff I wish I had learned as a kid

    I liked this book for the great insight into times long gone. Written in 1882 by men recalling the rewarding times of their childhood experiences, it passes on, with practical, precise and in-depth instruction, useful skills and entertaining games, that are far better designed to develop the body-mind coordination of a young human than sitting on a couch all day learning to excel at video games and social media. And as an added benefit, having this book will ensure that when the lights go out and zombies eat your friends, there's no need for you to go hungry or get board. Want: a boat? make one. a net? make one to learn to sail?     Great book teaches the old ways of making things for sport.

    I have the original book published in 1882. Too old and did not want to ruin it, so I bought a copy of it. Excellent book for making your own fishing supplies, traps for small animals. etc.for just a few things. As times get rough, its better to be prepared.

    Son enjoys

    My 11 year old enjoys looking through this to mark the things he wants to do with his dad. The only complaint I have it since it’s an old book, some of the materials suggested are quite outdated. But his dad enjoys the challenge of finding something to work in place of anything that isn’t quite up to date. Overall, recommend.
