The condition is used but the quality is very good and I am glad I can view family videos again at a good quality. The price may be a bit high but it has features like a time based corrector and is cheaper than others on the market that go over 400 dollars. The vcr itself looks used but it looks well taken care of and repaired to allow like new levels of quality. It does require a 120v to 100v converter to use the vcr in places like the US. The experience was great!
