Wood paddle would be better
Very poor construction. Bought something cheap so new players would have a paddle. Realized it was a disservice to them because one has to hit the ball perfectly, or else it just clunks. Nearly every ball sounds like a “clunker.”

Great entry level paddle
Great paddle for the price. I really like the handle size for both length and diameter, since I have large hands. The paddle is a bit heavy, which is fine for power, but my other paddle is lighter and I can switch from forehand to backhand a little quicker.

overall, the paddle is a bit heavy.
The band around the paddle is loose. The band rattles every time I hit the ball. I feel it's just a matter of time before it falls off. Perhaps it's just an aberration. It's the first time I buy a Franklin product. I do not fault the seller. Blame falls on the manufacturer.

Very Good buy
We enjoyed playing with it. It has a good grip,and absorb and bounces ball pretty good

Light weight and great value!
Great value for nice paddles! Haven't had much opportunity to use them, but as it warms up here more I will get out to play more often.

Poor quality
Handle on both paddles poorly done as tape quickly pulls away at the top of the handle that connects to the paddle head. The price was good but not the quality. Recommend another product.

K as basic paddle
The skin is not to the honeycomb center. Soft shots not easy to control. Very noisy.
