Superspy James Bond (Sean Connery) gets tangled up in the wild world of international diamond smuggling. Connery is as suave and entertaining as ever, taking on the menacing Charles Gray, who is trying his hand at playing Bond's archenemy, Blofeld. Bond. James Bond.
Brand new copy of the 007 Classic from 1971. "Diamonds are Forever" wasn't the Best Bond Film in the franchise. But, with the recent death of Sir Sean Connery, I felt the time had come to add it to my 007 Collection. I'm glad I did. RIP...Mr. Bond.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

The only James Bond film banned in the USA 🇺🇸
The movie makes fun of how sloppy NASA cowboys were in faking the moon landings, first moon missions were entirely a military operation, propaganda always used in war to deceive the enemy, hearts and souls of the American people in this case and the rest of the world who are so faithfully accepting what they've been told, James Bond encounters an engineer so he had to fake a German accent (German scientists were stolen from Germany along with their patents by non other than the zionist Einstein), who gives James Bond a radiatiin shield the size of a playing card, saying that he will need the radiation shiend (satire revealing NASA never cared for any shielding against the harsh radiation on the way to the moon and on the moon), when James Bond is found out at the set having infiltrated the secret area 51, the director says, "what is this, the amateur night?" (Hinting that the amateur fake job by NASA trying to fool the public, can't fool the professiinal filmmakers), when the actor astronauts are ordered to nab James Bond, they still move ever so slowly to catch James Bond (hinting how ridiculous slow motion was used to convince people that they're in low gravity), the fake astronauts are holding picks to take samples of moon rocks (NASA failed to include escavation tools, as whatever moon rock they claimed to have brought back, were all loose rocks which might have been meteorites, showing how sloppy the mission was to only prove they went to the moon and not serious about authenticity of any moon rock they were to bring back), James Bond gets into the moon buggy and the director says, " that moon buggy ain't a toy," ( NASA cowboys treated the vehicle as a toy like the hillbillies in the "Dukes of Hazzard," making rooster tail with fish tail style driving, never worried about accidents), James Bond crashes through the solid wall without a dent to the moon buggy, drives through the sand violently with lots of power (NASA forgot to understand the moon buggy heeds to be very fragile and under-powered if they want to convince people it was hauled on the side of the lunar module, no body cared to question the possibility of having only two small batteries which was also were to be used to transmit analog TV signals to Earth (another impossibility), but again the NASA cowboys had no worry what if a wheel is to come off and what if they get stuck a mile away, how would they get back to the safety of the lunar module? (That's another joke because in the hot sun without an atmosphere, the lunar module would be like a roasting oven, and no cooling system would work especially the cooling system they were to have in their space suits had no function since there is no atmosphere to dissipate the heat away and replace it with cool air, but the psychopathic rednecks who lack empathy, couldn't possibly put themselves in shoes of a hypothetical astronaut while designing a hoax. And the filmmaker made sure you the viewer of this film would notice the size of Earth being bright and vivid with four times the diameter than that of the moon, the terrain has a more plausible rough surface with sharp crystals that absence of atmosphere and moisture in vacuum could not had caused the erosion we all see in NASA moon scenes, and another point among all others is that astronaut with fully loaded suit esoecially when inflated to make pressure enough for astronaut not suffer from low pressure or no atmospheric pressure, that the astronaut couldn't have possibly sat down on what seems like in NASA films, a lawn chair! and so the filmmaker made sure the "moon buggy" is a better design than the NASA design in the way astronaut drives it with more control and visibility while standing up feeling safe under a clear dome that protects astronaut from meteorite and possible soil coming from front tire hitting astronaut, especially while the NASA cowbous made rooster tails with the powerful moon buggy digging the sand, and the filmmaker made sure viewes see the moon buggy's tire coming off which is included in the documentary how the tire kept coming off of the moon buggy during the filming of the 007 movie, bacause the filmmaker knew without emphasis the tire coming off would go unnoticed, which is why it is obvious and made to be controversial in hopes of raising awareness as the filmmaker for the movie "Shining," made sure the viewer gets plenty of hints on the fake Apollo missions (aka: room 237), The filmmaker of "Diamonds are Forever," also wanted the viewers know about the corruption (cheating, stealing, Nixon and watergate, fooling the public with lies and deception, easyily having sex with easy women was a message on how sex was used as a tool to obtain money and manipulate the public (as it still is), and the corruption in the military which NASA was born from, are ways the filmmaker tries to embarrass the guilty bully government by rubbing their nose into the filth they're so famous for and that's why it is banned in the USA 🇺🇸Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Diamonds shows its age but still a romp
I needed to watch this to support a story I'm writing. By TODAY's cinema standards, it was horrible. BUT given its historical position, Diamonds are Forever is a hoot and a campy romp. You may squirm with the primitive special effects and sexual objectification, but it was a very made in a very different time. Relax and enjoy. Great "set" locations
I haven't actually watched the movie yet since I've already seen it many times over through out the years. My purchase was strictly motivated to have a film documentation of the architect John Lautner designed home that was used in the movie. My Library of architects and their creations also contain tangible material that illustrates their work....such as movie DVD's, post cards, etc. Frank Lloyd Wright is a good example of an architect who had their work replicated across several different mediums (furniture, glassware, etc.). Not all "famous" architects were fortunate to have multi-layer fans but many had the homes they designed for clients used in well know movies...although most movie goers don't realize it while watching the movie. The Greystone Mansion (built in 1929) of Beverly Hills, CA is a good example of a famous architect's (Gordon B.
