This is my second purchace of Permatex. So I can say its very good at sealing not just threads but also joint faces. It does not cure too quickly so it gives you time to complete the installation. Good for jobs on cylinder heads.

Excellent thread sealer
Excellent for sealing threads on an engine where there is hot coolant or oil under pressure trying to get out. I used to use Teflon tape, this is a specific sealer for the job and much better. Follow instructions on tube- tiny amount on the male thread. Do not use too much of it otherwise it can get messy- it does not harden. Wipe off excess. It allows electrical connection for earth when fitting pressure and temperature senders too. See pic- tapered thread sealing- note small white bead of sealer has oozed out on tightening just before I wiped off the excess.

Very Good at a price.
I have tried the product on several diferent thread aplications including fuel, brake lines and water , it has sealed all so far. Bit to expensive and tube seems to have very little in it.

Great quality sealant, but a touch pricey for the quantity given.
Very good quality sealant for the purpose it was designed for. However, the quantity of sealant is not much given the price bought for. Recommended for any sealant required jobs in automation.
