    Item was exactly as ordered and what I wanted. Thank goodness it was packaged in the sealed bubble pouch, then in the cardboard box. Half the box was so saturated from rain/water, that the box was wet on the inside. The item was completely dry inside the bubble pouch. Shipping was pretty quick. I feel I got a great value for something I have been looking for.

    Very imformative view of U.S. Submarine Warfare in WWII

    Much has been written about the problems U.S. Submarines encountered in the beginning of WWII. This book gives a new outlook as to some of the causes of problems that actually were set by events and practices formulated several years before the start of the war. I served in the 1960's on Diesel Submarines that were built during WWII. Many of the older crew members were veterans of WWII Submarine service and this book really made sense with what I learned and experienced from these individuals. stamp890
