AMUSING AND INTERESTING
I loved the programme on tv but missed the first few episodes. I'm a motorboater so it has added interest for me BUT I think Timothy and Shane Spall are lovely enough to make non-boaters like it.

Good viewing.
Very good. Timothy Spall is a brilliant actor and the couple bring the trip around the coast of Britain tolife with their banter and the very act of being out at sea. It is also nice to see Timothy and Shane enjoying themselves after Timothy being so ill.

Docu-drama with Timothy Spall
Narrated journey around the UK coast with Timothy Spall and his wife Shane. Starting from London they tour clockwise around the coast, calling in at many ports on route in their sea-going barge the "Princess Matilda". The episodes are backed by various 30s and 40s songs and instrumentals. The theme tune is "Somewhere At Sea" by Henry Hall and the BBC Dance Orchestra.

Amateur boating at its best
10 out of 10 for timothy spall for doing what he promised after his illness . A great DVD worth every penny .

Very entertaining
A very nice series about going around Britain in a motor barge. Gives hope to anyone who is not sure whether they could or not.. .
