In Dark Dimensions: Wax Beauty, gamers head to the dreary and disturbing town of Red Lake Falls, where an odd beauty pageant winner begs them to save the town from destruction. The beauty queen's troubled brother and his stalker girlfriend only complicate matters, so it's up to players to figure out why the town is in danger by scouring the city for clues and collecting hundreds of hidden objects along the way. There are nine chapters in all, but this Collector's Edition includes a bonus chapter of gameplay, as well as an integrated strategy guide, concept art, and HD wallpapers.

A good way to pass the time.
I enjoyed the game. I'm not too keen on the puzzles but I liked searching for the hidden objects and going to the different scenes to use items from the inventory.
