Essential part of any cook's library
Ask any male cook who his favourite celebrity cook is and the name at the top of the list is going to be Nigella Lawson. Not only is she easy of the eye, but she has a way in the kitchen, particularly with Mediterranean food, that makes the most complex dishes possible to achieve for every level of cook not just the old hardened professionals such as myself. Her books are now an essential part of my library, not just because they contain a whole range of first class recipes but because they are entertaining and absorbing reading. Ms. Lawson does not just hand out a list of ingredients and a five point instruction on method of preparation she explains every step in detail, not just the how but the why. She is a true food writer who embraces her readers with her own obvious enthusiasm ... Good food easily made
I have watched the TVs show. And wanted to try the recipes, I have used many of them and they have become firm favourites. Though some of of the ingredients are a little hard to find the effort is worth it. I also like that alternatives are given which are easier to source. Recipes are clearly written and even a novice like myself gets great results.

Typical Nigella, lots of pasta !!
The book arrived in good condition and was like stated (secong hand in good condition, no marks etc.) I purchased it because there were several recipes in particular (that I had seen on TV) that I wanted to try out. I was unexpectedly pleased to see that the content was diverse and I have tried out some of the recipes. As always, some work well, others not so well, but when it comes to food it's all about personal preferences. Some of the ingrediants used are not what we would usually keep in our store cupboards and are a bit specialised or unavailable locally to us, but you can substitute to your taststes and budget. Scrumptious recipes.
Very pleased to get hold of a copy of Nigellissima. It’s full of mouth watering recipes to accompany the TV series. Love Italian food and love this book.. the recipes are easy and well explained.
