Desirable Samsung Gusto

Great phone for 85 year old mother
I got this as a replacement for my mother who had broken her previous phone and wanted something similar. This is a great flip phone for the money and does exactly what she needs it to do - place and received cell phone calls. I am sure it has a great camera as well, but that is not even used. Gusto 2 Review

Great cell phone, Verizon phase out 7/30/2020
As cell phones go this one has latest advanced features and great reliability. Tried LG and others which did not last or perform as well. Keep in mind 12/31/2018 is the last time Verizon or MVNOs can activate any 3G phones on Verizon service. 5G needs spectrum. Service will be permanently terminated 18 months after on or about 7/30/2020. Possible extensions, but do not count on it. Everyone will be forced to use data collecting smartphones. I like the Samsung Gusto as it is very hardy and stands up well to dust, moisture, and being dropped. Also it has a long battery life and can go for several days without a charge if it's not used a lot. It has been very reliable. The SAMSUNG GUSTO 2 is a basic "flip-top" cell phone that contains all the features that you will ever need in a cell phone. Before all the multi-feature "pitcha frame" devices came on the market, this was the go-to phone.
