Product Information

The sixth season of one of television history's most famous and ground breaking sitcoms is compiled in this collection. Bill Cosby was already a presence on television for much of the 1960s and 1970s, but in 1984 he debuted his new series, THE COSBY SHOW, which went on to become one of the most popular shows on television. Even in its very first year, THE COSBY SHOW was the third highest rated show in America. On the program, Cosby played Dr. Heathcliff Huxtable, who along with his wife Claire, an attorney, struggled to balance the challenges of their successful careers with the demands of their five children. The five kids all varied greatly in age and each had their own problems, which lead to a variety of plotlines for the sitcom to utilize. Cosby's goal with the show was to present a positive view of a regular, middle-class, and successful African-American family.

    This item arrived quickly and well-packaged. Unfortunately, the item inside was completely destroyed—Not slightly damaged, but shattered into a pile of pieces with two arms, two feet, and a bit rubber head. Clearly, this was not the seller’s fault. The item looked as if something heavy was dropped on it en route. I sent the seller a picture and they immediately issued a refund without hesitation. VERY positive experience. I would definitely buy from this person again.

    CLEAN, FAMILY FRIENDLY CLASSIC COMEDY

    I've always enjoyed the Cosby Show over the years. It was always a clean, family friendly comedy series. I'm enjoying the episodes of Season 6, especially because I don't recall seeing a number of them before. One episode I do remember from this season though was the hilarious Thinksgiving episode "CLIFF'S WET ADVENTURE".

    Outstanding family comedy

    One of the most engaging and pro-family shows ever made. The best part is the lightheartedness of the characters and openness to discussing simple family problems.
