I am 35 years old and this is one of my favorite movies as a child. It's about a young naive girl from the holler. Who meets a wild soldier boy and they marry leave home and have lots of kids but a star is born, as Mrs Loretta Lynn becomes a singer it is a true story and a great one! we already had this on vhs and Loretta signed it for my son years ago, when he was about 5 yrs old at her concert with her twins Patsy and Peggy, and one of thems teenage daughter that all sang and was wonderful. we bought these after losing her recently for cherished memories.
