A lot of religious references throughout the movie. Enjoyed the movie even though it had it's dark moments too.
Very compelling(sp) movie. Wonderful acting by Denzel Washington and others. Not for the light hearted person. This movie has some darkness to it but a good message in the end.

Hope for the future
A post apocalyptic world Is the setting for a story of survival and also hope for humanity. The scenery sets the tone and the characters fill each scene with great acting!

The book of Eli.
I knew this movie was not the usual "Denzel" model. But, I am collecting for my library. I thought this movie/dvd was 'brand new', it is not. No wrapping at all and the worst part the dvd was sticky. I did not handle it nor will I. Thanks

Not a good title for this movie
Great Movie but I recently learned that the whole brail written version could not be in one book but several.

Never have I been touched by any movie like The Book of Eli touched me...a true spiritual experience that left me shaking... I highly recommend it...Thank you...

Good movie and story.
I love movies like this with that ah hah moment towards the end. I like characters with character also, it's becoming a rarity these days. This is one I will keep in my collection to watch occasionally.

My favorite
This is one of my favorite movies. My 2 grown children borrowed it with all that is going on with this virus we are enduring right now. Thanks for keeping prices low so people can stay home and keep occupied. God bless.
