Good, but run too rich for stock
Bought these because of a misfire I had on a 94 XJ 4.0 Did not realize that stock injectors are 19lbs and these are 30lbs and require supporting modifications. I installed them not knowing this and the jeep barely ran unless I kept my foot on it and released lots of unburnt fuel fumes from the exhaust. If you need to replace your stock injectors and don't want to get a tune, distributor, etc. and want to switch to the 4-hole design for better efficiency, get the 19lb 4-port injectors, not these. TOO much fuel!
I purchased these for my 1989 jeep 4.0 and it turns out they deliver way too much fuel! They were installed along with a rebuild/swap, so when I got the engine running again and it was running extremely rich, it took me a while to diagnose the problem. After several weekends testing, adjusting and replacing some sensors, I finally did some research on the injectors and found that they are for a volvo turbo and deliver almost double the amount of fuel as the stock injectors. I ordered stock volvo equivalent injectors and installed them last weekend and the jeep is running great. Aside from that I was happy with the quality and the delivery, just be sure and do your research. I purchased these for my 1989 jeep 4.0 and it turns out they deliver way too much fuel! Just what I needed
Ordered these injectors to replace the old original single hole injectors on my 1998 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 liter engine. Followed the guides found on the jeep forums to do the injector swap. Only hiccup was that the new injectors don't have a slot for the clips that hold them to the injector rail. However this is not a problem, as they are held securely between the head and the rail. I confirmed this online in one of the archived threads about this topic. The injectors have worked well and I believe I picked up about 0.5 to 1 mpg or so.Ordered these injectors to replace the old original single hole injectors on my 1998 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 liter engine. Best xj mod
HIghly recommended for anyones xj. very simple mod to do and they are ready to put in straight out of the package. instantly i noticed quicker start up and lower idle followed by slightly better throttle response. you cant beat the quality for the value.
