    Seller used Fed-ex first mistake took over a week to go from Montreal to Montreal that is usually 2 days with other carriers like Canada Post! I think Fed-ex handled it longtime? destroyed contents from shaking parcel to much during delivery.IMHO.Fed-Ex should pay E-Bay after them for this is my wish! Super slow delivery and excessive handling with fragile items. Packaging was normal.Lost big value between sending and it receiving it has to be a delivery issue here to satisfy us both here hello

    Enemy Mine contains stellar performance by Louis Gossett, Jr

    I have long felt that the performance by Lou Gossett, Jr., was scandalously overlooked by those who picked the Academy Awards nominations for the year "Enemy Mine" came out (1985). Gossett was chillingly convincing as the alien Drac, especially at the beginning of the film where his voice production and reptilian movements were the culmination of Lou's obviously extensive preparation for this physically and emotionally demanding part, His performance, I am sure, became a seldom-equaled model for actors (and make-up artists as well!) portraying bizarre aliens in later movies and TV series, such as "Star Gate SG-1." It was an obviously superior performance which should have had at least an Academy Award nomination. As for the storyline, without giving away too much, the gradual ...

    DVD Enemy Mine Quick Review

    I remember watching this movie as a kid at a family get together and all of us were in the living room with our snacks and this movie was playing in cable either HBO, Showtime, The Movie Channel, or something like that. The lights were all off and the parents were on the couches and us kids were on the floor front center stage hogging up the main TV action. This movie was one of the best Sci Fi movies ever next to Alien. The cheesy special effects were great, the way the film was shot with all the perfect angles and soundtrack and just the ambience of the film caught my eye and I was emotionally caught in the movie within five minutes.     from enemy to friend a story of peace vs war

    this is a good science fiction flick from 1985 that didn't receive the praise it deserved. I have viewed this movie more than once and decided I wanted to add it to my permanent collection. It is not a tale that is action packed as are many movies about outer space. Rather this is a story about how two very different beings from two very different backgrounds who come to understand one another, work together, trust one another, and become friends and allies. Yes this is a touching story that puts many action laden science fiction movies to shame.

    Cult classic - even if no one else thinks so.
