Book about rocks and minerals for my 7 year old grandson.
Very good book for a beginner. I bought a rock polisher for him for Christmas and wanted a book to go along with it. It looks perfect for his age and reading skills. Very clear pictures and descriptions of the original rock or mineral and its form as a polished gemstone, etc. The book interests me as well... I'm a beginner too so its content is quite interesting to me. Very glad I purchased this book.

Perfect book for kids or adults who love rocks

You can never have too many books about rocks & minerals with pictures etc.
I love this book and recommend it to anyone interested in Rocks/Minerals. I have taught earth science and I run a rock shop. Although some people would call this eye candy. the more pictures you have of rocks/minerals the better you are to identify the ones you fin.d.
