The ball is 3/16 of an inch under the 2 inch advertised size. There is a ragged seam that runs along the ball were the two half's are joined together. The ball is beautiful with the colored swirls. I'm 67 years old, so I remember the super balls and from the 1960's. I don't know if it bounces as well as the original version. I'm not willing to spend $150 dollars on a vintage Wham-O super ball to find out.
