Installed on a 350 sbc in my jeep. Wow, no more off idle stumble. Super smooth throttle response from almost stall on up. I made only a small idle speed adjustment of about 200 rpm. Descending and climbing hills is now a joke cause I don't have to do anything except steer. No sputtering going down or up. I don't think this carb knows the meaning of up or down. Edelbrock makes a spring loaded needle and seat to aid with the angles if needed but mine works great. I was idling up a steep grade and I got the rpms to low and stalled it. The motor fired up immediately and I continued upwards. Edelbrock makes a carb tuner kit but I haven't used mine yet. I bought a spread bore to square bore adapter from Ebay to mount the carb to the stock iron q- jet intake. I also installed a idle speed ... Installed on a 350 sbc in my jeep. I also installed a idle speed solenoid on a manual switch so I can bump up idle speed for deep water crossings or longer winch pulls to help keep the battery charged. I also installed an Edelbrock inline adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Mash the throttle in first on gravel and it's nothing but wheel spin. Do it again in second and it sounds just like the inside of a B-mod on Saturday night. Out of the box the Edelbrock 1905 650 cfm carb is nothing short of amazing. Well worth the money.
