    After some confusion with the shipping method the seller used I did receive my hard drives. At first I received a small envelope with a note inside tied to the provided USPS/SpeedPAK tracking number. This caused eBay to register the item as delivered but the hard drives were not yet in my hands. The drives showed up a few days later via UPS, under a completely different tracking number that I only obtained after questioning the seller. Once received the item was as described and working.

    Great Drive !

    I've been using many of this exact model in my DAW's )Digital Audio Workstations) for professional use since this model came out. Great for the computers dedicated drives, great for backup, speed is enough, extremely reliable & especially the beating a DAW's HDD's take for their purpose. Works in XP & up. E-SATA is nice and fast, too.

    Good choice for a basic hard drive.

    Purchased to use in a low cost pc build. It is plenty fast enough for it's purpose. All the sectors are good and it is very quiet. Would buy again if needed.

    What happen..

    It worked great as I hoped :) Kinda funny story if anyone interested. I only bought it so I could swap the platters from an identical drive I've had for almost 5 years now with 5 previous years of my stuff on it. I held onto the drive all this time thinking I would eventually do this and attempted to swap the platters without it totally failing lol. So I went through with the ordeal and it worked! At least long enough to get my stuff off of it anyway, HOWEVER.... turns out this drive I've had this whole time thinking it was the one with all my stuff on it.. somehow got swapped at some point and it wasn't even the right drive. Epic fail. lol

    New life to a 10 year old computer.

    Beats buying a new computer by a landslide when you know how to fix it. Simple little hardware job. In fact, usually for me the most tedious thing with working on this kind of thing, is putting all the software and my things back after replacing these.
