Being that the item is listed as "brand-new" and "undamaged" I would expect that the item would work as intended. I contacted the seller about this and they insisted that they didn't say anything about the light and just refer to it as a hand sanitizer holder. While this is true, I do feel that the omission of any information regarding its working condition was intentionally misleading.
