The Little Mermaid is an animated, musical movie based on a young mermaid named Ariel. In this animated movie, Ariel is very keen on exploring the world outside the sea and so wants to know more about the humans. As she always wishes to spend a day on the sand, she trades her beautiful voice for a pair of legs with the sea witch. The little mermaid falls in love with a handsome prince when she ventures to the surface. Including a "Treasure Untold: The Making Of The Little Mermaid" and "Kiss The Girl" music video, this two-disc set is very captivating. "The Little Mermaid" two-disc set also includes a DisneyPedia that talks about the life under the sea. Also, with a story behind the story, a wonderful art gallery and deleted scenes with alternate ending, "The Little Mermaid" DVD is very entertaining to watch.

    Fast shipping, product as described. My only issue was that the books were shipped in a plastic bag with no protection. Luckily they weren't damaged. Books should be shipped in a box, but if a bag has to be used then they should at least be wrapped in bubble wrap first to prevent damage.

    Great movie, lots of extras

    My little one’s new favorite movie. I loved this as a kid and now my kids are loving it too. The platinum edition has lots of fun bonus features.

    Just EXCELLENT in true Disney style! Wonderfully animated with perfect music for each scene. Casting for the voices of the animated characters were exceptionally good! Truly enjoyable film from the beginning to end. THANKS!

    DVD LOCKS UP PLAYERS. Rating the product, not the movie.

    Bought this for my 2 year old knowing I love the movie. Received a bootleg copy that will not play in any of the 3 Blu Ray / DVD players we own. Actually locks them up so that I have to unplug them just to restart the player to get it to open to get the disk out. Not sure what the problem is, but definitely a bogus copy. Disk has rough edges which is odd. Just wanted a movie that worked.

    It came brand new but...

    It stops and freezes on one of the piracy warnings. It did it 3 times so I finally went to scene select room and I skipped forward. Not one DVD has ever messed up in this player and I can guarantee not even 30 movies have been played in it it's that new. We'll see on other players.
