    The best budget prime lens anywhere!

    Absolutely great value, well made budget lens. I have found sharp across all apertures on Full-Frame (FF) and is also exhibits excellent contrast. The lens optics are based on a highly regarded (and high end) Pentax lens, so the performance always going to be great. These great optics are housed in an all polymer - including mount body, that could have been executed terribly, but Pentax has as usual not skimped on design and assembly quality. Manual focus is very pleasing indeed. A big advantage of the polymer body is light weight. I am using this lens on FF and also Film cameras.

    My favourite lens

    About an hour after I tried this lens, it became my favourite. Crazy sharp even at f2.4, lighter than any of my other lenses, fast focus, great aperture. The perfect lens.

    Efficient and easy to use

    As i had two lenses that would not do what I was hoping this was indeed far better than expectations and has taken some terrific photo's particulary of plants.
