The appearance of the envelope told me extra care went into the packing. After opening, I found the condition to be as promised by the vendor.     Item was as described, packaging was unprofessional book bounced in the news paper and cover almost ripped off, I love the book it’s beautiful and will do a repair on the cover, I am happy with my purchase price was a good value. I will just recommend wrapping antique books on a bubble wrap inside the box to prevent damage wile bouncing.

    The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

    LOTR: FOTR is a fair adventure film. The movie was so much more upon it's initial release. Years afterwards the special experience gets lost somehow however. This is evident in the characters clothing but definitley not the acting itself. Nothing against the original but i think the sequels don't hold true to the first of the trilogy and i cannot wait to watch the prequels of the hobbit.

    A classic!

    It took decades to bring these books to the screen. It was worth it! It's hard to find fault with anything; though I guess they could have shortened the tun time. Actually they did cut some scenes, so never mind-5 stars.

    Block Buster Read!

    The timeless story of good and evil. The value of friendships always, knowing this was written after WWI, it had special meaning for me, and reflects the authors investment and time spent in that war
