For the first time in the franchise's history, you get to test your technique against real-life legends. Rock stars Slash, Tom Morello, and others confront players at various points, where the object is to drain their rock meter by outperforming them at their own songs. Choose from over 70 tracks, many of which use master recordings from the original artists, to channel your inner guitar god. Songs include “Anarchy in the U.K." by the Sex Pistols and “Cult of Personality" by Living Colour. As in earlier versions, you can embark on a career, earning money to unlock new characters, guitars, songs, and other surprises while competing in an assortment of different venues.

    Great game, cool songs

    Both my ten year-old and forty-something husband love rocking out to this game. The songs range from fairly easy and fun, to really challenging. It could keep you busy getting good for a while. Good music, good game.

    Guitar with broke wammy bar

    My son has been playing legends of rock and showed me that the wammy bar doesn't work. Wish it did because he cant get any further on his game and i payed a pretty price for it. Its the 2nd time he has played the game.

    Best Guitar Hero Ever!!!

    It's a good game with a bonus,I wish I had an ACTUAL controller so I can learn to play on hard and eventually expert.

    A review of the game: best guitar hero ever. For $6 guitar hero 3 is a great deal. It's my favorite one and game stop didn't have it.
