Gentle, timeless, old-school Hollywood entertainment.
What a great box set. Four of her best comedies which look awesome on blu-ray. The set is packaged really nicely, with a cardboard outer box containing 4 full size blu-ray boxes, each with a single disc in; one disc for each film including the extras. It goes without saying that the films are brilliant, so the uninitiated are in for a treat. All that 1950s technicolour glamour has given it a sumptuous and timeless aesthetic. The music, acting and scripts are also top notch. The films are very much of their time, but all still very watchable now.
