Horror at its best

Just watch it !!!

Scariest movie ever made!
It's been years since I last watched this movie. I have clear memories as a young boy when it was first released hiding behind a cushion as the story unfolded. Recently I decided to watch it again under the misguided assumption that a scary movie made 40 years ago couldn't possible match up to the modern technology used in cinema today. How wrong I was! The story is gripping (although far more drawn out than I remembered) and the characters are deeply engaging. The "jump" scenes are still as frightening today as they were during my childhood and I have to say that the special effects are as realistic today as grey ever were. Watch this by yourself in the dark
