    Holy cow shipping was fast. I had it in 2 days. It would have been 1 but, I messed it up!!! Fantastic ebayer. I know if I have any questions about using the lens they will answer them. Item just as described, looks almost new! The description was excellent,all the info needed on buying a used lens. Thank you! I was worried about packaging.     Marvellous add-on for Sony E camera users

    Two years ago, I switched from Sony APS-C (A230) to Sony E (A7 I). Considering the price level of nice FE lenses, I intended to preserve most of my Sony A ones. This was not the worst decision using a LE-EA adaptor from Sony. From other Sony users, my attention was very early directed to other lenses, i. e. mounts. So I discovered old lenses like Rokkors as newer ones from Canon as well. Canon EF got my attention, so I started with some EF Teles quite early. I was overwhelmed by their picture quality, but not satisfied by AF performance of my former EF adaptor (Commlite). I never intended to use a Metabones because of its price tag. So it took a while until I decided to give Metabones a try. I was pleased by their full given AF options to my cam, and by AF performance as well. It's not so ...

    Metabones Smart Adapter Mark IV for Canon EF Lens to Sony E- Mount - is well-built, the proudly-named and over-priced. The DEO Techart Saker Falcon faster, more progressive and not so expencive unit.

    Metabones IV Adapter Great for Using Canon EF Lenses on Sony A7r2

    I had previously tried this adapter when Sony first released the A7 but found it worked with few of my Canon lenses and was slowe to autofocus. Now, a few years later, I have tried the Mark IV adapter with my Sony A7R2. I am happy to find many more Canon EF lenses that will autofocus, and some even Eye autofocus with my A7R2. Now I have more options for lenses than just the Sony FE lenses. The Canon lens line is ecpxceptional in depth. Plus some are smaller, lighter and cheaper than a Sony equivalent, if one even exists yet.

    Works Great on Tokina 10-17 Fisheye Lens

    Works GREAT on my Tokina 10-17 Fisheye lens. Much faster focus time than the old one I had.

    Makes the A7R2 even more versatile!

    With the current firmware as installed when I bought the adapter, it does not do eye focus mode. Other than that it functions as I would expect a native lens to function. Solid build quality. Focuses Canon ultrasonic lenses quickly and quietly. For the price of this adapter and a Canon 24 to 105 L lens my cost doesn't add up to half of what an equivalent Sony native lens would cost.
