Separated from your father, you must leave the vault and explore; the fate of humanity rests on your shoulders. If you can find him, there is a chance to bring water back to this dying land. Along the way, you'll meet both friends and foes who want to stop you on your quest. "Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition" for PC brings you over 100 hours of gameplay. This game includes both the base game and all five DLC packs. Unlike other games in the series, Bethesda Softworks served as both the developer and publisher. This "Fallout 3" title was released in 2009."Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition" is an open-world first-person shooter. If you see a location, you can travel to it and go inside of it. Numerous settlements dot the landscape, all needing your help. While you can solve some quests with your words, your guns will do most of the talking. Bethesda has cooked up some nasty enemies for you, such as a giant mutant and bandits. You're armed with weapons ranging from laser pistols to miniature nukes. If you ever find yourself stuck, you can use the in-game cheats to give yourself a boost. This version of the title features over 20 cheats you can activate. Once you finish the main story in "Fallout 3", the action lives on in the five DLC packs.In "Operation: Anchorage," you'll go back to the past to see how the war started. You'll play as a U.S. soldier who must liberate Alaska from Chinese occupation. The weapons and armor you receive in this expansion will carry over to the main Fallout quest. In "The Pitt," you'll travel to Pittsburgh to answer a distress call. Unlike other locations, Pittsburgh was not impacted directly by a nuclear explosion. You'll find enemies in this region that you won't encounter anywhere else in the in-game world. The fate of Pittsburgh rests in your hands, as you will make decisions that change the city."Broken Steel" takes place after the game's ending. Typically, most games in this franchise end when the main boss is defeated. "Broken Steel" adds a new quest that takes place after the final boss, allowing you to keep playing. It also raises the level cap, allowing you to learn new skills. "Point Lookout" is the biggest of the expansion packs. This add-on takes you to a swampy region full of new enemies and weapons. This add-on packs over 10 hours of content for players to enjoy. Lastly, there is "Mothership Zeta." After finding a wrecked UFO, you'll find a trove of advanced weaponry inside. However, the remaining aliens won't let it go without a fight.The title received a rating of M for Mature from the ESRB. This rating is due to the game's mature themes, violence, and alcohol usage. If you enjoyed past Fallout games, you'll love this new chapter. Newcomers to the Fallout series will also find this RPG video game easy to dive into. No previous experience with the past Fallout games is necessary, and no gaming collection is complete without this "Fallout 3" PC software from Bethesda Softworks.

    The packaging was simple but sufficient and the product looked exactly as advertised. As for price I probably could have found something similar at a better price, but the card verified as real, the signature is still awaiting validation. All in all the product arrived faster than estimated and was sleeved and in a hard case. I would use this seller again, assuming the signature is legitimate as that is where 99% of the value of this item comes from.

    Great game. My favorite game fallout.

    This is really great game. Game play is really good. I love games like this before you have more freedom to choose what character you want to be good or bad. And with hundreds of places to go, including thousands of weapons and items to choose from. Nothing you can asked for. Great graphics as well with 4 GB graphic card Ndivia GTX 1050ti I'm using on my gaming PC plays like a charm. Great hd sounds from the graphic card as well. But you might have some issue for installing this game. Xlive.dll files are not included with game which is surprising to me. You must go online install Windows live to get the Xlive.dll file to game to play with your PC. Which I did not get with the disc. That's the only catch. Other than that it's play well with best OS Top of the line in the market Windows 10 ...

    Fallout 3 & Fallout New Vegas

    I really enjoy Fallout. I played Fallout New Vegas first, now I am playing Fallout 3. I just wish that I had a newer computer, if I have one, I would play Fallout 4. For all you young game players out there, I just want you all to know that some of us old folks like these types of video games too, I am 72 years old.

    FALLOUT 3 GAME OF THE YEAR! WAS ARRIVED "SOMEHOW AT A GOOD CONDITION" IN THE HOUSE!

    Well now the price is even lower but it was ok then... the only thing (if I remember right it was the disc inside was that had come out of the case button !! ... Overall I think it's a nice game.. ..I had played first, downloaded from the internet and finally I liked it and bought it (the original copy) to add it in my collection..! Anyhow I never ever played the mods of the game.. ..I 'll play it some other time I suppose..!

    Great game all in one place

    So many ups for this game warranting the five stars. One thing which I should have paid attention to was comparability issues. Fortunately I have an older PC with XP so was able to load to that one. CRC error messages when trying to install multiple times on my Win 7 machine. At least it'll be something I can play to pass the time waiting for Fallout 4 in November :)
