  • Good, but a tight fit on the bucket

I ordered this because my wife and I decided we're going to start doing some more camping with our daughters. It arrived in great shape and seems to be of good construction. The problem came when I tried installing it onto a 5 gallon bucket ... it was VERY tough to get it to snap on. I'm not sure if this is the norm, but this can be a real headache for some. It didn't arrive in time for our first trip and my wife bought one like this from WalMart. The WalMart one was a little larger in diameter and the seat wasn't sloped inward like this one. The extra overhang due to it's wider size might make it less desirable and this one more preferable, but I actually like the one from WalMart better. It was much easier to snap onto the bucket and I like the non-sloped seat better. This is still a good buy and we're keeping it for a backup. I definitely recommend it.

  • You'll Be Pleased with the Results!!!

Of course everybody laughed when I converted my orange HomeDepot bucket into a port-a-potty. But when the big earthquake comes (as it surely will), I'll be sitting pretty on the can while the doubters are out in the woods looking for big maple leaves. This seat is a little small, just the size of the ones on airplanes these days so it works for me. I keep an emergency supply of scented 13 gal. trash bags with the seat and a big package of extra strength 2-ply toilet paper as well. Just for fun I tried it out in the backyard the other morning and I was very pleased with the results. I say be prepared and you will be too with one of these emergency thrones. Don't leave home without it!!!

  • Love my new "Restroom"

I ordered the Portable Toilet Seat on Feb.5th and it was here on Feb.7th - not bad for Calif. to Arkansas. The Seat would not fit a 5 Gal. paint bucket like so many reviews have said. I took my skill saw and cut five slits from the top of the bucket down about two inches and about an inch apart so when I put the Seat on the bucket, these slits kind of bent inwards and the Seat fit like a glove. I took the seat off and put a Walmart plastic sack around the top with some cat litter in it. I then bent the bucket metal handle on both sides so it will go over the seat when carrying it. Now I'm all set for camping or just hitting the open road with my own restroom and it only cost me about $12.00 - not bad for 12 bucks !

  • Toilet seat lid....

While not like the throne at home, this is the perfect item to carry on extended outings or to pack in the bugout gear ! Fits well on any standard plastic five gallon bucket. With a plastic bag liner and a simple bent wire (not included)to hold the TP close at hand it's the perfect tool to keep you from squatting on your spurs.

  • When you gotta go.....this will get the job done!

Brought to use on my 21 foot boat mostly for my kids. If you have kids you know they always have to go at the best times. This is a very simplistic solution to a porta potty with chemicas and maintenance. Put a garbage bag in it, sprinkle some cat litter in the bag and take care of business. As a plus the 5 gallon Paul it sits on makes a great emergency bailing bucket. If you have a boat without a marine toliet id recommend this. It's cheap and it works well.

  • Title?

I never got it to snap in place but it stays on while sitting making it easy to clean. I won't try to use as it is to small for all parts to fit. However, it works great for my wife and she has been using it inside our hunting camper. So I would recommend it for an average size woman. But, not for a grown adult aged male.

  • Great Idea but not the fabric you'd expect

Great idea for a place less likely to hide jewels, cash, small documents and USB flash info. BUT its made of nylon like fabric more like a wind breaker; not a cotton tank top. They shouldn't claim its going to blend in with shirts unless you wear tents. Can still hang under a coat so its less likely a stand out.

  • The best I've ever used

This's a absolute life saver! I used it as soon as I picked it up from my front porch and it was great, a little hard to get on but that's expected otherwise it would fall off. 🦸

  • Awesome portable toilet seat and cover

Emergency Zone brand toilet seat and cover. I totally recommend this product. I was skeptical after reading some of the negative comments but since it’s reasonably priced, I figured I will give it a try. I got it within a few days. I went to Home Depot and purchased a 5 gallon painters bucket. Placed and aligned the seat on top of bucket and pushed down. I pushed down on one side and while leaving one hand in place , used the other to push down firmly around the bucket. It’s a nice firm snug fit. Btw, I lined the bucket with 5 trash bags with it hanging over the edge of bucket before I installed the seat. Pulling the seat off is easy. Don’t pull using the cover of seat. You will just pull the cover off the hinges. Pull the actual seat as if you were pulling the plastic lid off of a plastic paint bucket. It’s easy. Enjoy! It’s truly a life saver. Especially when on the beach or stuck in traffic, etc.
