A good but slightly ineffectual man tries to off himself after an error that really wasn't his fault. In Christmas Carol fashion, his crusty-but-lovable guardian angel shows up to give him a tour of the world without his presence, and it isn't a pretty place. Moral courage, small-town American life, civic cooperation, and family love are glorified; corporate greed and self-involvement are vilified; at the climax, a blanket of snow like spun sugar makes everything pure and clean like redemption itself.

Great Classic Christmas movie
Every year it seems like its getting harder to find the Christmas classics I and my family watched when I was a kid. This is building my Christmas movie collection and the bonus is this came in B&W and colorized. DVD's are in excellent shape and arrived fairly quickly. Great Movie with an excellent moral message hidden within.

It's a Wonderful Life (Blu-ray, bw/colorized)
I've seen both versions before on DVD. The black & white original is excellent, and a family tradition. But was captivated by how well it was colorized yoo. Very natural, and gives fans of the movie Perhaps a little more perspective on the time frame the film is depicting. Upscales well on my player/tv too. Best it's ever looked. I don't plan on buying this film in 4k,as I dont believe they can eek out anything further than what's presented in Bluray.

Great throughout the years!
Love this movie. It is a great Christmas story which has been viewed throughout the years. The BluRay quality is sharp. It is a great addition to my Christmas Collection

Somthing New
I've watched this movie in B&W for 40 years. When I watched in Color it was like watching for the first time. Totally a new experience.
