All But My Life by Gerda Weissman Klein
Best written book by a holocaust survivor I've ever read. Bought this copy to share with others because my original paperback is autographed by the author. A very wonderful lady. All but My Life, was adapted for the 1995 short film, One Survivor Remembers, which received an Academy Award and an Emmy Award, and was selected for the National Film Registry. On February 15, 2011, Klein was presented with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the United States. A Good Used Book with a Human Touch
I first read this book in the early 60's. My father had a 1958 edition (hard back). I have several books written by Holocaust survivors and wanted a paperback edition. One of the special things I like about used books is when I see commerations for friends written on the beginning pages.
