the charger recess is too shallow and cannot support general pop sockets
First, this product technically works as a charger. Second, the recess that allows for the pop socket to seat against the charger is too shallow to support a phone with a safety protection cover (penguin, otter box, other) and a pop socket. If the recess were deeper, this could be a wonderful product but as it exists today, it is not much more than a dust collector.
