    Princes' very first album!

    I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He absolutely loved it. He is I would think Princes' NO.1 fan. He said he thinks he owned it years ago but not sure how he lost it. But when he listened to it he got goose bumps all over! He loved it and I thought it was quite good also. Prince is a exceptionlal (genius) even musical artist. The cd was delivered before due date and was packaged very well. I would definitely recommend this one.

    Prince - For You CD

    This Prince "For You" CD arrived in brand new sealed condition. For the most part, I believe Prince was an excellent & eclectic musical artist who did not get the recognition he deserved during his lifetime. My reasoning behind rating this particular Prince CD a "no" for recommendation and value is only because, personally, I did not like the style of the music on this CD. Some folks may enjoy this CD immensely, unfortunately, it's just not for me. I was actually looking for a Prince song that I had heard just a few times on the radio back in the 70's. That song was exceptional, but the name of the song was never mentioned during airplay. Since this CD is of Prince's earlier music, I thought I would take the chance that that song may be on this CD; unfortunately, it was not.

    Great Album

    This is by far some of his best work that never got any radio play, the only song anyone knows from this album is Soft & Wet. It was a great song but there are other songs that are just as good.

    I heard prince music over the years this was first time I heard this album it was very good album love every track on it

    "On His Way To Greatness"

    For me any thing that Prince did is good. You have to really and truly appreciate music and the artist that he was at the time and believe were he was going with his styles of music.

    Nothing exciting, just like the C.D. itself.

    Since it was Prince's first release I will give it one star. Compared to all of his future work it doesn't even sound like the same artist.
