Reads 4K UHD commercial Blu Ray discs. NO quality scanning though.
Good drive, quick and works well. Reads 4K UHD commercial Blu Ray discs well with firmware 3.01 that an Ebay'er put in for me before sale, works great with MakeMKV. NO quality scanning though, of CD, DVD, Blu Ray, or 4K UHD discs which is a shame.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

It works, Mac OS too.
I needed a BluRay drive that could read my UHD BluRays on Mac OS. This does the job. Combined with MakeMKV, I can back up my discs by rippoing them and storing them on my Plex Media Server for easy viewing. I had to order a separate cabinet to install the drive into (form OWC/MacSales) which was an additional cost for me, but that's just how these thing work.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Works for 4K UHD Blu-ray disc playback on PC (with the right software)
Purchased this in order to watch retail (store bought) official 4K UHD Blu-ray discs from my film collection directly on my PC - I can confirm it works perfectly with 2 pieces of software - DVDFab Blu-ray Passkey and a decent media player - PowerDVD 21 Ultra in my case. I just connected it up with the supplied cables (nice touch) and it all worked perfectly straight away. Ran my DVDFab Passkey software, unlocked the disc, then played it in Power DVD 21 - all in 4K UHD HDR10 - no issues, full menus etc. This solved a problem that seemingly every other HTPC owner says can't be solved without major hassles or an older Intel based PC - well, I'm here to tell you this works with an AMD based PC no problem!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Fast and reliable.
