Grandson love as much as mum
Our youngest daughter loved this film now her 3 year old son is in love with Elliott and also has a soft toy which goes to bed with him .It has not aged at all and beats the new version which like most of these remakes is dark and no innocentBestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Original version great for young and old alike.
I have seen both the original film and the new modern version. The modern version does not live up to this highly entertaining film/musical with animation. Sit back and slip into a child's world where a child's needs are fully taken care of by a giant dragon with pink hair. A young boy escapes the hands of a hill billy family who bought him for fifty dollars with the aid of the dragon he crosses the country until he arrives at Passamaquoddy. Here he finds a home with people who love him. Lots of magic ,comedy and slapstick. Version exactly as required.
Didn't say product was better than expected. Simply gave star rating considered appropriate; system made assumption regarding degree of satisfaction. Product exactly as would have hoped. In reasonable condition for age, complete & seems to work OK. Product is earlier 1977 semi animated + live action production not later 2016 less animated more fully live action rendering. Two hours of fun-packed entertainment.

Do not order if you live in the United States.

The Original and best!!
