fun movies from the past!
A lot of these movies are 40-50 years old so it isn't fair to compare them to today's movies which use computer imaging. Due to age, some do not have good color but that should be considered. I was actually impressed to watch these movies and know that most of the shots were LIVE, not CGI. These obviously did not have big budgets and were not the top billing in theaters, but were probably featured as a 'double feature' when that existed. It was sure fun to go the the movies and see 2 for the price of 1!!! The productions were mostly Italian however English dubbing is acceptable. Do not expect to learn accurate history from them although many of the Roman and Greek characters did exist and the history of the destruction of the populace through invasions/wars, combat arenas, plagues/disease did happen. I would recommend watching these films purely for the appreciation of the difference in production then vs. now. Not an over abundance of blood and gore to tell the stories, but enough to make the point. The actors weren't paid millions for their roles but obviously were dedicated to make the best film possible at the time. Watch them when you have some extra hours to spare-kick back and enjoy.

Yesteryear Dvd Wonders
This product is great because It is full of hours of sword and sandal great features. They take me back to my younger days. I've always loved these kind of movies. I'm so glad you've given me the opportunity to own it. The plots and actors are wonderful. Even though it comes with dots or spots while its playing, nothing can replace this joy.
