Konami's original music fitness game returns to Wii in an attempt to reclaim a piece of the dance floor occupied by Ubisoft's top-selling Just Dance series. Key features include more than 50 licensed songs, the option for solo players to use two dance mats simultaneously, and the ability to monitor your progress and stats within the classic Workout Mode.<br><br>The gameplay once again involves using your feet to quickly replicate onscreen cues for left, right, up, and down. A dance mat peripheral is required for play, since it acts as a floor-based controller. Those new to the series can learn at their own pace in the DDR School Mode, while more skilled players can strut their stuff on higher difficulty levels. Up to four players are supported.

DDR is fun!
So much better music and gameplay than the Hottest Party series. Glad I tried this, even after being disappointed by the hottest party 2 game. It's DDR, and its fun. I bought two mats so my daughters could "Dance" together, and coupled with the wii remotes and nunchucks, it's a bit of a good time watching them. I also tried it myself. I could see how you could make the gameplay into an actual dance if you took time to memorize the songs.
