    The book arrived swiftly packaged in a protective plastic envelope, but it was a paperback not hardcover as listed. I contacted seller and they apologized, refunded me and suggested several things to do with the book after allowing me to keep it. I have gone ahead and ordered a hardcover from the same seller.     field guide means very small book

    Book was very small and has small pictures which are very little help in identifying trees. Pictures and descriptions are separate and its a pain switching back and forth. Was hoping for a full size book with a large picture of each tree accompanied by a smaller picture of leaves bark and nuts, and a nice description under pictures.

    Excellent guide!

    If you want to know what trees you’re looking at when you’re hiking through the woods, this is the book for you. The books make the trees easy to identify, and describes them in detail.
