The Bridge Doctor works well.
I am a an older guitarist who likes to work on my own and sometimes my friends instruments when they need a little help. I have used the Bridge Doctor a few times now with great results. After I have removed and repaired the bridge area, I have installed a Bridge Doctor to reduce the belly bulge and lift the sagging from the bridge to the sound hole area. It has helped lower the action and made these instruments much easier to play while not noticeably affecting the sound quality of the guitar. This is a real great product for the musician who may own a less expensive guitar, or can’t afford to pay a luthier for an expensive neck reset. I’m very pleased with the results.

Guitar Strings Would Break
I use to play music with a band and my strings were always breaking. One day I meet the inventor of the bridge system and I bought one from the inventor. I never had that problem again once I installed the Bridge System. So I just bought an acoustic bass and I am going to install the Bridge System in it. It works great and every acoustic guitar needs it.

A great and inexpensive cure for a bellied acoustic guitar top
Absolutely does what it was designed to do, which is to help flatten a bellied acoustic guitar top, or prevent future top warpage. One caveat: if your guitar has other problems, such as a bowed neck or broken top braces, this won't cure those. Also, if you have any doubts about your ability to install the Bridge Doctor, seek professional help.

These are great for a simple fix to minor belly bow in guitars. They also enhance the tone somewhat to give a good resonance sound for the avid player who want's a little extra bonus with their performance. Breedlove uses them in their new models with thin sound boards to keep the bridge from bowing. Try one and you'll be pleased.

A luthier had told me nothing more could be done.
The guitar is not expensive, and has a laminate top, but good sound until the bridge raised too much to play. Two weeks with no strings and a weight on top got it ready, then I was able to install the truss in about 40 minutes. It should be a lasting fix., given the design.

JLD Bridge Doctor, Screw mount
I installed the JLD Bridge Doctor, Screw Mount on a vintage aged flamenco guitar. Well, was a bit difficult due to fan struts in the top plate.... However once I positioned The Doctor safely and with the adjustable post against the back-block of the flamenco guitar, the warp in the top behind the bridge straightened out over a few days. Also I was able to lower the strings to a much better flamenco guitar action. A bit of very careful testing, but successful. The Guitar sounds fantastic and is much easier to play.

Bridge Doctor saves Yamaha
I used the Bridge Doctor JLD on a 1970s vintage Yamaha 12 string. Installation was straight forward and mostly invisible. So far the bridge is now up and ready for a new saddle and setup. With out the Bridge Doctor the top/bridge was so warped you could not set up the string heights.

Guild 12 string repair
Work great for repair of a classic Guild 12 string. Belly bulge eliminated and able to set action to a nice playable level. Unbelievable sustain! Easy installation.

Amazing guitar device.
Amazing product. I install Bridge Doctors on all my guitars, it helps them a lot, makes them last longer and at times even adds more bass to the guitars sound. Totally recommend this if you have a 12 string.
