Dry lecture style - but worth the effort
It is worth watching this if you are planning a trip to Italy--especially Florency--and you want to know more about the key artists. He touches on architecture, but painting and sculpture are his main focus. It is very much an old-fashioned lecture style. So, because it is a bit dry it helps to just watch one lecture a night.

Like new condition. Multiple discs look good, were perfect as expected in spot checks - (did not play all 18 hours of video to be 100% sure fro this review). Accompanying booklets look untouched.

A must have if you are traveling to Italy
Wonderful presenter. Very comprehensive and filled with images that illustrate the various painters and influences.
