    good item

    It was easy to use and I was able to fix my problem and use my dress, but a bit difficult to get a bit thick fabric under the needle, otherwise I love it.

    Curiosity didn"t kill the cat. (I got me the singers sewing machine after 20 years of wanting it).

    VERY DISAPPOINTING

    Worked long enough to learn to use it but then it quit stitching. I checked the tension; it seemed fine. The instructions had NO troubleshooting section. Very basic instructions equivalent to a little over 1 sheet (8"x11") print paper. It's cheaply made in spite of the Singer name.

    Good learning tool

    I bought the item for my granddaughter because she is learning how to use it in a school sewing club. She started using it and is very pleased with the operation. The machine is of good quality for the job at hand.
